Baylis Hill - Planning for Change Workshops

Baylis Hill are pleased to announce a new programme for 2011 designed to support businesses, public sector organisations and individual employees that are facing financial challenges resulting from the 2010 spending review.

These have resulted in many employees facing planned or unplanned retirement, voluntary or enforced redundancy or changes to their working lives in circumstances that may not have been anticipated. Some employees are feeling disoriented and anxious as a consequence of this and others are celebrating the opportunities that this presents.

Irrespective of how people respond to the change, this will need them to make some decisions about what they do next. In this situation some people find it difficult to find the right support, guidance and advice to enable them make the necessary decisions. There are often a variety of choices, which individuals may not immediately recognise as being available to them. Making the right choices at an early part of the process can be a significant contributory factor in how successfully people respond to change and make the transition from one situation to another.

Baylis Hill consultants have personal experience of these feelings and have identified the benefit that can be gained from structured support for employees in this position. Our consultants offer help to employers and employees to explore the range of opportunity that exist for people who are facing transition and change in relation to work. Their support enables individuals to make positive and confident choices about what they do next.

The support offered by Baylis Hill is intended to complement these programmes and consists of a one day practical workshop that has been devised to enables attendees to;
