The leadership development service provided by Baylis Hill is delivered personally by our leading consultant Elaine Baylis QPM.
Described as an inspirational leader, Elaine works extensively with people in all different leadership situations. This involves nuturing talent, providing opportunities to develop new skills and helping people review activity and learn lessons from their experiences. This includes selection for promotion and lateral development, enabling individuals to achieve their true potential.
Baylis Hill consultants have particular experience of leadership in neighbourhood partnerships, including Local Strategic Partnerships and Community Safety Partnerships. The increased engagement of the public and higher levels of accountability present particular challenges for leadership in these environments.
In working with clients in all leadership positions Baylis Hill encourages people to take personal responsibility for themselves in the workplace, to understand their own working styles and its impact on others. Using her personal experience of working in highly competitive, pressured and performance driven environments, Elaine has developed a range of leadership strategies that have been used by others and resulted in sucessful outcomes.
Elaine provides individuals with the opportunity to identify the challenges faced in their own work in complete confidence and to explore solutions with the intention of enhancing individual leadership ability.
